On the 12th anniversary of the Supreme Court invalidating key provisions of the Voting Rights Act - IGGR reviews National and State Initiatives to suppress the vote in Michigan.
Once again the Republicans have betrayed us! They passed the Huge Horrible Bill! But it's not too let to stop it.
Stage a sit-in at every damn office of every fuckin Republican Representative now.

We must now take our fight to Republican House Representatives. Our phone calls and letters are not enough. We must show up, make them see us and hear us!
If the bill passes our tax money will go to fund Wars and ICE. It will go to Oligarchs who are building robots and developing Ai to replace human workers. It will go to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos so he can make more money from millionaires who want to take ten minute space rides. It will go to Elon Musk who wants to colonize Mars. Most of us need jobs not space rides and we don't plan to move to Mars. The billionaire oligarchs do not need our money - we do.
The tRump's bill will take money from the poor and give it to the rich. Millions of Americans will lose their medical services. Hospitals and nursing homes will close. Educational services will end. Utility bills will increase and experts believe this bill will start an economic depression! Find out where your Republican Representatives offices are and go make yourselves comfortable!

Unfortunately many people could become afraid of the RankMIVote.org effort because they have read about these other two drives and that would be bad for everyone in Michigan. Thank You.

Please tell us the NAMES of the two bad ballot proposals so we know which to avoid! Also, please make sure people know that it IS ok and good to sign the petition for Ranked Choice Voting that will be out soon. Thanks!

One of the petitions that will be circulated for signatures is put out by: “Prove It, Michigan” (run by the Committee to Protect Voters’ Rights). The other petition is put out by Americans for Citizens Voting. If you are asked to sign any petition about voting rights refuse to sign.
