Call Senators Peters 202.224.6221 and Slotkin 202.224.4822 (see Resources for You for more contact info).
Thank them for voting no for the Continuing Funding Resolution. Continue to work toward protecting the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and tax credits to make the insurance affordable. Also continue the work to support funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Program (SNAP).
Demand they vote YES on H.R.4405 - Epstein Files Transparency Act when it reaches the Senate. What’s next for Congress in the push to release more Epstein files
Peters: Make public statements calling for new leadership in the Senate
Call Representative Scholten 202 225 3831 or Moolenaar 202 225 3561
Thank Scholten for voting NO for the Continuing Resolution for funding the government.
Tell Moolenaar how disappointed you are that he voted yes for the Continuing Resolution for funding the government.
Urge her/him to vote YES on H.R.4405 - Epstein Files Transparency Act (and thank her for signing the Discharge Petition that ensures the Resolution will come to a vote in the House)
Tell them both how important the Affordable Care Act and the tax credits that lower the costs for the premiums are to you and all people who depend on them.
Tell them both that all continuing budget debates should result in continued funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and funding for any program you feel strongly about. (e.g. Public Broadcasting, National Weather Service, Medicaid, etc.)
EXTRA CREDIT: The need for food assistance has increased 300% at SECOM Resource Center, which serves people in the 49507 and 49512 zip codes. Consider attending the Fall Comedy Harvest and raise funds for this amazing organization.

Wednesday, December 4 at 7:00 pm. Resilience for Sustainable Activism. Online. Many of us entered movement work out of urgency — and many of us are exhausted by it. This powerful session introduces The Resilience Toolkit, an embodied, justice-aligned framework for sustaining activism over the long arc of struggle. Rather than treating burnout, reactivity, and conflict as personal failures, the Toolkit helps us understand them as predictable responses to stress and trauma — and equips us with practical skills to stay grounded, engaged, and connected. Register here. Sponsored by Indivisible National.
Together, we’ll explore:
- How stress and trauma shape movement behavior — and how to interrupt those patterns in real time
- Embodied solidarity: how listening, repair, and collective care become possible when our nervous systems have capacity
- Rest and joy as conditions of political strategy, not rewards after the work is done
- Practical tools to bring steadiness and discernment to movement, organizing, and mutual aid work

THE NOTHING BUT WATER MOVEMENT
https://substack.com/@soulmamatalks/note/c-175297376?r=113nff
The Union of American Consumers has one simple goal. NOTHING BUT WATER until we have Universal Healthcare for all Americans!
You, the American consumer, are the single most powerful person in this country. American consumers spent 19 trillion dollars of their hard earned money in 2023. And YOU, the consumer can use that spending power to send this message to those in power: you work for me--I do not work for you.
The Union of American Consumers aims to focus consumer power to leverage corporations to lobby for working people instead of the their own interests. Our first initiative is simple: we only drink tap water until a single-payer universal healthcare system is passed in congress.
A universal single-payer healthcare system in the U.S. could be funded by modestly increasing taxes on the wealthiest individuals while reducing overall national healthcare spending through efficiency and price negotiation. Instead of paying premiums, deductibles, and copays to private insurers, everyone would contribute through taxes and receive comprehensive medical care free at the point of service. Studies show that this approach could save hundreds of billions annually in administrative costs and make healthcare more affordable for most families. Lower and middle-income households would pay less overall, while higher-income earners would contribute more, creating a fairer, simpler system that guarantees healthcare as a right for every American.
So join our movement. We can all go without alcohol, bottled beverages, coffee, soda, tea, etc. What we can't do is continue to support a broken healthcare system that primarily disadvantages the poor and working-class people of our country.

BOYCOTT XMAS TO SAVE OUR DEMOCRACY!
The Whos down in Whoville taught us that we don't the gifts, decorations or a roast beast to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. Give the Gift of Freedom - Boycott Xmas the Economic Spending Season - not the true Christmas Holiday. For fifty days November 20 through January 8, 2026 buy life sustaining essentials only!
~ No Black Friday, Cyber Monday or store bought Holiday Gift Shopping
~ No Holiday Traveling or Entertainment
~ No expensive trash - No wrapping paper, ribbons or bows
~ Considering donating the money you save from not shopping, to food banks or other organizations that service those in need.
The Boycott Xmas Economic Slow is another imperative step in the Anti-tRump / Fight the Oligarchs Resistance. We must now go after the tRump's billionaire oligarch supporters. The Boycott Xmas puts the state of the economy in the hands of the shoppers as opposed to the workers. We must stop all unnecessary shopping at their national chain retail businesses and restaurants until the these billionaire business owners, call for the tRump's resignation themselves! Historically, economic inaction is the most effective way to bring down a dictator. All of our resistance efforts have failed because we are doing a terrible job at getting the word out and bringing in new supporters. We must support our resistance organizers. Take every opportunity to announce upcoming resistance events. The success or failure of these upcoming events are in your hands. Don't let them fail like all the others. Let this be our last attempt to Dump the tRump! Help us flood the media by promoting current events or starting new ones. Don't let the tRump defeat us!

Support the Holiday BLACKOUTS & BOYCOTTS - November 20 - January 8, 2026.
There are multiple Holiday Economic Boycotts and Blackouts! Help us defeat the tRump and the oligarchs that control him. Remember the true meaning of Christmas and relieve yourself of the burden of holiday shopping!
For those of you criticizing me for supporting the Blackouts and Strike because they hurt poor people and small businesses consider this -
"DC doesn’t feel the same as it did even a year ago. One night during my trip, I went back to a restaurant I’d visited last year. Back then, the place was buzzing, so packed that you had to put your name on a waiting list just to get in. This time, I arrived during peak dinner hours, and the dining room was almost empty. I asked the workers what had changed. They told me that ever since Donald Trump ordered the National Guard onto DC streets and increased ICE patrols, business has collapsed. People are scared, and if this keeps up, they don’t know how much longer they can ride this out for.
This is what happens when politicians use military presence and immigration crackdowns to score political points: local businesses collapse, workers lose their jobs, and entire communities are pushed into fear.” ~Carlos Eduardo Espina
The TRUMP'S brutal cuts and government shutdown also hurts the poor and millions more.
